For 1 chocolate cake, you will need:

• 1 egg
• 1/3 cup oil
• 1 tsp vanilla (optional)

For 1 chocolate topping, you will need:

• 1/4 cup unsalted butter for the glaze (or 1/2 cup unsalted butter for the frosting)

For 1 spice cake, you will need:

• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup oil
• 1 tsp vanilla (optional)

For 1 spice topping, you will need:

• 1/4 cup unsalted butter for the glaze (or 1/2 cup unsalted butter for the frosting)
