Frosting Guide
A little versatility is baked into every Glazed cake. The topping mix included in your kit can be prepared as either our signature glaze
(following the instructions on your box) or whipped into a soft, swooping frosting using the method below.
You will need
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp hot water
Instructions
- In large bowl, stir hot water and Topping Mix until smooth. Add softened butter, then stir to combine.
- Using a hand mixer, beat at medium speed until pale and fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes.
- Spoon the frosting onto the centre of your fully cooled cake. Using an offset spatula or the back of a spoon, gently spread the frosting toward the edges in smooth, sweeping motions.
- Finish with the topper included in your kit (sea salt, candied ginger, freeze-dried raspberries, or natural rainbow sprinkles).
